About Veolia

Veolia is proud to be a sponsor of the AWA NSW State Conference, Tamworth

With nearly 180,000 employees worldwide, Veolia is the global leader in optimized resource management. Since 1853 when the Compagnie Générale des Eaux (General Water Company) was founded in France, the Group has been designing and providing water, waste and energy management solutions that contribute to the sustainable development of communities and industries.

Veolia Australia and New Zealand is the region’s only environmental solutions organisation with specific capabilities across water and wastewater treatment, energy management, waste and resource recovery services, industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance services.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive, high-value-added solutions that balance growth and environmental protection, solutions that manage water sustainably, turn waste into a resource, and develop cleaner, more efficient energy systems.

Veolia’s business strategy is guided by five elements: our business, our customers, our people, our environment and our community. These elements shape all aspects of Veolia’s future performance, and our corporate policies and practices are linked to delivering excellence in one or many of them.

The challenge of building water resilient cities is becoming increasingly topical, and Veolia Australia and New Zealand is proud to be participating in the AWA NSW State Conference as a Major sponsor in 2020.

On November 12 and 13, the Veolia team will be available at the event to interact with new and existing key clients, and to share insights with professionals from the water industry. We look forward to seeing you there!

Digital solutions for the Water industry

Digital offering

All the attributes of the digital world – mobility, data science, the cloud, the Internet of Things, etc. – are being brought into play to assist with Veolia’s ambitious digital transformation.
This transformation is guided by a “digital roadmap.” Created collectively by the headquarters and the operational units, it has been expanded to include the expectations garnered from employees, customers and end users.

Veolia’s Smart Water Services have been designed to support water authorities and industries improve their water network management and infrastructure. They offer more than standard maintenance services or equipment supply, by offering unique innovations which are tailored to suit your water operation’s needs.

The boom in new information technologies, as well as the progress made in the field of smart sensors and meters, have in recent years made it possible to introduce new services known as "smart water monitoring".

This refers to the remote real-time monitoring of your water system. The monitoring service relies on automated protocols on one hand, and on the other hand on the intervention of operators, who act on the basis of the information collected. The entire service significantly optimizes the performance of the system.

Temperatures, pressure, flow, electrical intensity, humidity, power emitted or consumed, average, peaks, dips in consumption, incidents, etc. The data monitored may vary widely depending on the type of system, the calculation capacity, the level of detail sought, and even the visualization or reporting solutions related to it.
